Sue is the dedicated wife, friend, and caregiver of her husband Chuck, who has experienced repeated setbacks in his health in the past several years and is currently on dialysis. She also looks out for others in her family who have health problems, including her sister and their elderly mother. Unfortunately, their children do not live nearby. Earlier this year, Sue's diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension sent her to her doctor, and she had to give up her part-time work in a crime-victim advocacy program for people in nursing homes and assisted living. She is a former Registered Nurse, a great advocate, and a valued friend. We all miss her warmth, smiles and hugs, but we know that now is the time for her to invest in her health and in being there for her husband. She is always in our hearts, our thoughts, and prayers. |
